History

Inventor August Belz

The sapor® dry soap dispenser- concept was invented by the Swiss-razor blade manufacture August Belz (1907-1971) and in the following years produced and distributed worldwide under the brand name sapor®.

In 1947 August Belz had the idea to use dry toilet soap pieces in a soap dispenser. By turning a hand wheel the dry soap was grinded to powder.

The sapor® dry soap dispensers replaces in the market the since 1920 used "Schiffelspender" in restaurants, enterprises and trains. One of the reason for this was the excellent dosing possibility, the efficiency and the temperature independent use of the sapor® dry soap.
