- Inventor August Belz
The sapor® dry soap dispenser- concept was invented by the Swiss-razor blade manufacture August Belz (1907-1971), and in the following years produced and distributed worldwide under the brand name sapor®.
In 1947, August Belz had the idea to press soap pieces in a dry soap dispenser. By turning a hand wheel, dry soap could be rasped as powder.
The sapor® dry soap dispenser replace in the market the since circa 1920 mainly in restaurants and enterprises used „ Schiffelspender“dispenser. Reason for this was the excellent dosing possibility, the efficiency and the temperature independent use of the sapor® dry soap.
